Born in the early 1980's, Larry P (Larry Porter) grew up in Holly Springs, MS. He began his rap career at the age of sixteen, but after being a rap/urban artist for so long, he quickly became MORE passionate about producing music instead. From that point on, Larry P began to get laser-focused on his producing skills and now has almost two decades of experience to bring to the table.
Even though there were many obstacles along the way, Larry P has truly been blessed with an ear for producing music. God has also blessed Larry P to be multi-talented by not being able to just rap, but also given the ability to write, produce, mix, and master his own music.
With so many years of experience producing himself as an artist, Larry P now seeks to give back by just producing others instead.
“The more I produced myself as an artist, the more I realized that I was more passionate about creating music rather than writing and performing”…said Larry P.
Then shortly after finding what he was passionate about within the music industry, Larry P took some time off and developed another passion into internet marketing. For about 5 years, he dedicated all of his energy into learning how to market online. Even though he had some success at online affiliate marketing, he quickly found himself not being passionate about the products in which he was marketing.
He felt that something was missing and needed more fulfillment.
So it was at this point in his marketing career that it dawned on him to put two passions together. Instead of just marketing, why not use one passion to help with the other…Right?
This was the turning point when Larry P began to market himself as an online music producer.
After doing some research on the music producing industry, Larry P discovered that the music industry has changed dramatically while he was pursuing his marketing career. Not only has technology changed, but there are now HUGE opportunities in music licensing along with selling beats online.
After coming across this knowledge and seeing the possibilities upon online music producing, Larry P now has the pleasure of marketing his beats, providing valuable content to upcoming artist, and being a music producer all at once.
